Day 10 Christmas TagI

This was another challenge, as I didn't have any fragments, but I used the plastic storage Tim's products came in.I also didn't have any of the pictures so I pulled out what I did have..
and the trusty Cricut for the letters in Believe.
coming to an end now with 2 more to go. I am thinking the melting pot will be used for either tag 11 or 12.

Day 9 Christmas TagI

I didn't have any of the Die's or stamps that Tim used, but I did do this tag with the exact same technique, and colours, that he used on his day 9 tag.
I don't mind it., but I still like tag 1 the best so far.

Day 6 Christmas Tags Tim Holtz

Yes, I know Day 5 isn't here, its because its in the bin...I might go back after the last tag is done and give it a re-run.
This one, was also a fiddle and I wouldn't bother to do it again, too much painting and drying in between for my liking. the camera didn't like the metal either. but this is day 6

Day 4 Christmas Tag Tim Holtz

Christmas Day 3 Tag Tim Holtz

I didn't enjoy doing this tag, as I really didn't have the right bits and pieces required, so I had to make do..
In fact I wasn't going to put it up, but as I said I was going to do the 12 tags, I thought better of it.

Day 2 Tim's TagsT

Tim Holtz bird cage and pine cone dies

I really can't make these Pine Cones. but any way, here is Tim's Bird Cage Die, and the Pine Cone Die. I used Distress stains on the tag, White and Broken China. and while still wet sprayed glimmer mist over the tag. Then I dried it off... the Bird cage was done using Crackle paint and a dab of alcohol ink in the cracks, the bird was painted using the new distress colours..
I found some gorgeous pearl fringing and stuck it to the bottom, The stars by Stampington were white embossed..

Tag Using Tim Holtz Limited Edition Distress Inks..A

A Tag using Tim's new colours, the stamp is from Dylusions. Of course I didn't realize that they were all in pieces and I would have to have a steady hand to stamp this straight, so I didn't bother its on the kink. Charlotte won't mind a bit.
I used Perfect pearls, Claudine Hellmuth's Gesso for the corners.

Tag Using Tim Holtz Limited Edition Distress Inks..

Made this tag for a friend In USA, using Tim's New Distress colours. I also used his stamps
Glassine paper for the flowers, and also Ranger's Perfect Pearls.

New Beeswax Canvas

I recently did an on line class with Cristina Zinnia Galliher at www.rosesonmytable.com

Configuration Frame.

Annette Richmond, sent me the gorgeous Frozen Charlotte, and that's how this frame came about.
Its taken a couple of days, as its been pulled apart and re-arranged a few times.
the Glassine Flowers are a technique taught by Sally Purvis, the bottle is an idea from Celeste Santin.
I go on to explain the bits and pieces in the close up.
Please bare with me, I am no good at photography, and even if I was, I don't have an arm to lift a camera, xxx Thanks for looking...

Configuration Frame. the Middle

I had some help here with the Bottle, there was one little rusty heart sitting by itself, looking a bit lonely, when Celeste Santin from Paper Planet suggested using the bottle.
with a little typed message, which was then distressed, and popped inside the bottle.
I used Tim's Alcohol inks on the bottle..

Configuration Frame. Top Right

I managed to find a Feather to fit inside the little square that has feathered paper,
the frame with the little girls face wasn't meant to come out blue, but the die ran after I put glossy accents onto it.

Configuration Frame. Top Left

The metal pieces are from Tim's Ideology, words and stamped number, are also Tim's
some of the Gears are from www.scrapware.com.au
Words used around the Gear, are from some Rub Ons I have had for ages.
A little key and key hole I have had in my stash for ages...

Configuration Frame. Middle Left side

I used a chipboard bird, and crown, from www.scrapware.com.au covered with dictionary paper, another smaller Galssine flower with the Technique from Sally Purvis, using Ranger's Perfect Pearls. will give her blog address when I know it.
A piece of the Quickutz die and some of Tim's Tissue Tape at the bottom.
Captured in Time is a Rub on.

Configuration Frame... Bottom Right

I was Given this gorgeous Frozen Charlotte from Annette in the USA.
I have never seen one, or used one, and this was how I got started with the frame.
Sally Purvis taught me a technique using Tim's Glassine Kraft paper, and Perfect Pearls from Ranger. I don't know Sally's Blog address yet.
The stamp is also Tim's...from Urban Chic
The Die was from Quickutz

Configuration Frame. Bottom Left

A littel title about rectangles, Tim's Rosette, some corrugated board which I distressed and added some Gold Utee. I do like colour and bling.
Tim's metal leaf in the corner.

I finally received the Die that Marlene used in my gorgeous Birthday card, and this is the first thing I have made using it. I did the same rust method that she used, but the rest is different.

My Very First Chunky ATC for Sharon in S/A.

The mini clock cogs came from www.scrapware.com.au and I rusted them with my new favourite rusting solution.
The top handle was made using a strip of Tim Holtz's Grunge, which I distressed, and all of it was distressed using his inks.
The stamps from Tim's Papillon set.
The name plate at the front is also from Tim's collection I typed the words out on my dymo and burnt the edges using the heat gun.I thought that looked pretty good.
Its got little tiny feet on the bottom. a chain with keys hanging from the top also.
I hope Sharon likes it.

My Very First Chunky ATC for Sharon in S/A.

The Back of the ATC, Tim's flourish made out of Grunge

the other side of the ATC

On This side, I tried my hand at Beeswax, but it sort of seeped around to the front and back. which isn't what I wanted, but its there now.

My Very First Chunky ATC for Sharon in S/A.

The side punch is made using Tim's Kraft Glassine paper and a Martha Stewart punch

Another Rusty Leaf Tag

This is for a fellow stamper that needed some cheer.
I hope its not too dull.
It's made using the rusty stuff Marlene told me about and I love it.

I haven't used this Die from Tim Holtz yet so thought I better at least get it out of the box !!!
I bought this rust stuff (Porters Paints) that Marlene used on my birthday card, and I loved the look it gave, so I had to buy some..This is the first time I have used it, and the leaves were done with it, On Grunge paper.
I placed a real skeleton leaf on top of one of the leaves.
Papers were from Retro Grunge.I clear embossed it with some of his stamps,

Papillon Card re-made

I decided that the Papillon card I made earlier was too wishy washy, so I took the moths off, and re stamped them onto grunge and coloured them with dusty concord, now I think the moths stand out or pop out much better.
