My First Journal

I have just taken my first Journal class with Roben-Marie, and it was fabulous, it pushed me to new limits and techniques. amazing value too, she is here if you want to check the classes out.

This is the Front Cover which is Canvas, stenciled, gessoed and gessoed again. you get the picture, I used more than one tub of the stuff before the end. NO stamping in this at all.

The first inside page. Because I didn't have that many stencils to start with I used my trusty Cricut and cut out shapes.

We Kept the newsprint that was used to blot all the shapes stencils etc, and it came out fabulous backing paper.

Problem with Blog

Yes I know, there is something wrong with my blog. After a major thunderstorm last week, no phones for 4 days, no electricity etc, Its gone and left me...
I have no clue how to fix it, so I may even scrap the whole blog thing.
Its just too difficult with having surgery next week to even contemplate trying to sort it right now.sorry..

Letter Love Book

Amazing Journal Gift

I received the most amazing Journal in the post the other day from France in Belgium.

France knew I was taking some on line classes in Journaling and has sent me the best Journal for inspiration.
Every time I look at it, I find something different and new..The colours are divine...
The first picture is the front of Journal, and the second the back.. Thanks so much France, this is fabulous and I so appreciate it.

Shelving Added

Its coming along, nearly all my wall space is now taken up by new shelving, and a huge cupboard.
This one is for my un-mounted stamps in folders, and also my small collection of Cricut cartridges
another one to go up which is going to hold all my embossing folders etc.

Tim Holtz Die storage

I found the best place to store my Tim Holtz and other Dies.I haven't finished yet as I need more hooks, but they look like they belong !!! Okay I can see they are a bit wonky but I will fix that.

New Ribbon Storage

I was also sick of my ribbons in a tangled mess so here is my new storage solution, which I did get from http://triplethescraps.blogspot.com I haven't finished yet. I bought 200 boxes yep that's not a mistake.. so I had to order some more.. not sure where they will go yet, for now they are in these drawers.I haven't done the Lilacs, purples yet, or the other arty stuff.

New Storage shelf

My Hubby, got sick of me complaining, that I didn't have enough storage space.
So, he made me this shelf unit which sits the entire length of my desk, 1 meter 800 and behind it is a peg board where I can hang scissors etc.
I haven't finished sorting out where everything will go, but have made a start, I think he did a great Job.
Well, I needed to sort it out before starting my new on line classes.

New Year's challenges

I have decided that this year, I am going to do lots of on line classes, and do things I have never tried before.

when I figure out how to put a LINK on here of their blog and the classes I am doing. I will do so ASAP. In the mean time, I am shopping for supplies.
That might sound easy but its not, there are tons of things that we don't have here in Australia, one being the Canson All Media Journal... Eckersley, told me its not in available here, so I have bought it on line from Roben-Marie.
Newsprint to me is your common old garden newspaper, but I think its something similar to what we call Butchers paper, help me if I am wrong.Tons of Stencils on their way, although I have just heard my LSS has them coming in.
Oh and Keep your fingers crossed there isn't any more surgery this year to upset the apple cart.
